Welcome to our Cricut Maker Dollhouse Miniature Halloween Book Nook Tutorial Series – Day Twelve!
Join us in our 13 days of Halloween Book Nook Series where we will upload a video every day for 13 days, counting down to the big reveal on 31st October!
Day One: We look at the SVG files in Design space and decided on the layout of our Book Nooks.
Day Two: We cover decorating before you build and how to create your own bespoke wallpaper!
Day Three: We learn how to measure, deboss and fit a planked and grooved floor on to the base.
Day Four: We build and install the window, ‘glass’ and window ledge.
Day Five: We start the main construction method and cover some optional details like baseboards and fire surrounds.
Day Six: We make a start on the Headstones and Cemetery base, and install the window and second side wall.
Day Seven: We continue with the Headstones and start to age them and the rest of the Book Nook.
Day Eight: Download the free External Décor elements to complete the outside of your Book Nook, and learn how to create your own in Design Space.
Day Nine: We build and shape the lid handle and install the lights for both the room and graveyard.
Day Ten: We were a bit more behind the scenes today in terms of planning/designing and cutting, we were busy all day (not all of it on miniatures) but most of the progress will be evident tomorrow so for today we’ve just uploaded a few snapshots of what we did accomplish, and will be back with a regular video tomorrow ;-)
Day Eleven: Today we cut the cloak for Death on the Cricut and glued it together using a new mini iron, and we made a stand alone battery lit fire from skulls and bones and green flicker flame LED bulbs!
Day Twelve: We make some accessories from Polymer Clay, including a Soul Gazey Pie and some treasured Angel Wings in a glass dome!
