Emergency crews are on the scene of an apartment fire on Indy’s west side.

The Wayne Township Fire Department responded to a report of a fire around 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8 near 38th and I-465.

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the apartment complex.
