Here’s a tribute to Cretoxyrhina, aka the Ginsu Shark.
Cretoxyrhina lived from approximately 107 million to 73 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous period. It went extinct due to the increase in larger predators and the scarcity of its prey. Cretoxyrhina preyed on Mosasaurs (such as Tylosaurus), Plesiosaurs, pterosaurs, turtles, and even other sharks. This is one fish that you should be happy is extinct.
