Success! Content ID identified it as "Drone" by Tod Dockstader, recorded in 1962 and released on an LP record in 1966. But good luck finding a copy -- it's selling for over $60 on Discogs!

Uploaded mostly in an attempt to find out what album this is from through YouTube's Content ID system, or perhaps if someone recognizes it. Recorded sometime in the early to mid-1990s from 88.7 WRSU (the Rutgers University radio station in New Brunswick, NJ) on a cheap cassette tape. Originally played from some vinyl record (you can hear the pops and clicks in the quiet parts) containing rather creepy-sounding early, pre-Moog electronic music.
