Here are some works of hyperrealist art by Australian artist Patricia Piccinini's. I shot the video and photos at an exhibition, entitled 'Hope' that was held at Tai Kwun In Hong Kong.

Piccinini's work often features strange looking creatures that look vulnerable and that are or are being cared for (or are caring for others). The works of art show here are:
(1) The Bond (a woman tenderly holds a baby creature),
(2) Sapling (a man carries a plant-human hybrid child on his shoulders,
(3) The Balance (a red motorcycle-like being with antlers made of rear view mirrors locked in an embrace with a yellow scooter-like being),
(4) Celestial Field (The three aforementioned sculpture were placed an installation entitled ‘Celestial Field’. in this installation, thousands of a flower stems hang from the ceiling and emerge from the floor like stalactites and stalagmites in a cave),
(5) No Fear of Depths (A hybrid of a human and a dolphin embraces a human girl)

The song is my own—it is called Creatures.
