Many medieval codices and works of the period are famous throughout the world for their curious illustrations and interpretations that used to appear in the margins of the pages.
They are so many, so varied and often amusing, that the Red Mountain team (The Crown of Wu) is currently working on an indie game that takes inspiration from these illustrations, among many other things.
In Hermetica we can see creatures of all kinds, as well as scenarios rich in detail and a spectacular care in all aspects.
In this turn-based card game, we will have to build our perfect deck as we advance in the game and we get resources and defeat enemies using alchemy.
In addition, thanks to alchemy we can also modify and create new cards, adding effects as we see fit.
On the other hand, Hermetica is set in Toledo during the dark times of the sixteenth century, where you will accompany Blasco the alchemist on his journey through the different enclaves of the city, which will be generated randomly, as well as enemies, items and others, due to the roguelite component of the game.
Hermetica will arrive in 2024 for PC and consoles thanks to the agreement with Abylight Studios to publish one of the most anticipated games of 2024 (DeVuego awards).
