It's so, so hot and we have to be perfect in everything we write. Oh my goodness, what do we do next?
Many thanks to everyone that joined me live this week for our creative writing class. We had a really enjoyable and nuanced conversation throughout - I'm very fortunate to have such articulate and driven writers joining me.

NOTE: This writing workshop was created with secondary school students in mind and was designed to help you to develop your descriptive writing. Anybody is welcome to join us though - I'd love to hear how you found it.
The workshop also looks at how trying to be 'perfect' as a writer can stop us taking risks and getting the most out of our writing. there are some big questions raised by the end that I'm still thinking about now.
I really hope you enjoy it (and that you make a few mistakes along the way).
