So today is one of those days I am feeling extra grouchy. I’m not sure if it’s hormones, stress or a little bit of both, but I can tell you, I don’t like it. I have to try extra hard (and usually fail) to choose joy, so on this quiet Sunday afternoon I decided I needed to refocus my “tude” and choose JOY! My circumstances do not have to determine my attitudes and behaviors. I CAN choose joy. I had been wanting to do a page in one of my bibles using this line from the beloved children’s song so I decided today was the day! I read many verses about joy but settled on the whole chapter of Psalm 33. The first part of verse 1 says “Shout for joy in the LORD...” and the chapter goes on to talk about why He is worthy of our shouts of joy. So sing it with me... 🎶 “I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart!!” 🎶
