Studying the arts at all levels and ages is about finding your voice and perhaps making things and taking part in events in a way that others can appreciate that makes a valuable contribution. If we teach children to sing and dance and draw, they may in life do other things but we will hear from them later and it’s the people who have the confidence to stand up and speak that will make the world or your town a better place.
Art gives a voice to the voiceless.
