To celebrate the release of #WesAnderson’s #TheGrandBudapestHotel on the #CriterionCollection, here’s an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film.

This time-lapse video, taken in Görlitz, shows how production designer Adam Stockhausen and his team transformed the hotel’s lobby from its faded glory in the 1960s to its opulent peak in the 1930s.
