What does a career in publishing actually look like?
Recently, Hachette Book Group welcomed a group of high school students from a local school serving predominantly Latine students for a day of learning, connection, and discovery.
Students explored careers across production, editorial, marketing, and design, gaining insight into the many pathways within publishing. The day concluded with a networking lunch, where they connected directly with Hachette employees and asked questions about navigating the industry.
This experience is part of our ongoing commitment to building a more inclusive and representative publishing landscape—creating opportunities for the next generation to see themselves in this space.
