Create a fully modeled mechanical part in BricsCAD Mechanical using direct modeling, sketching, and standard feature workflows.

This lesson demonstrates how to convert a drawing into a Mechanical block with BMMECH, build a precise 2D sketch using circles, offsets, rectangles, lines, trim, and mirror operations, and transform the sketch into a 3D solid using boundary detection and EXTRUDE.

You will learn how to edit geometry with direct modeling tools, apply colors and properties, insert parametric slot features from the mechanical Library, and modify their dimensions through the Mechanical Browser.

The lesson also covers MIRROR3D, SLICE, PushPull, UNION, Dynamic UCS, and Manipulator based editing techniques for refining the model. By the end, you will understand how to create a complete mechanical component from concept sketch to finished 3D part using efficient direct modeling methods.
