Human Restoration Project | Creating Hope: Working with Youth to Co-Create Schools Fit for Human Beings | CTRH2023 @HumanRestorationProject | Uploaded 1 year ago | Updated 1 hour ago
Creating a better future for ourselves is a basic human capacity. But when it's not nurtured, it withers, which can have disastrous consequences for well-being. Schools can be sites of flourishing if and when we engage our students in active co-creation of their learning environments, nurturing their capacity to imagine and create a better future for themselves through school, guided by a connection to their values and informed by the knowledge of the past. Democracy needs this, youth needs this, we need this. Why haven't we done it? Session led by Jennifer Chace.
