Nick Mount worked with our glass artisans in the Greenfield Village Glass Shop as an artist in residence in 2025.
Nick Mount, a pioneer in Australian glass art since the early '70s, established Victoria's first private hot glass studio with his partner Pauline. They developed an internationally recognized arts practice known for technical and artistic excellence.
Nick has exhibited widely, with works in over 20 public collections internationally. His award-winning Martini Set is in the Art Gallery of South Australia, and he designed the limited-edition Penfolds Ampoule.
Founded in the historic and cultural traditions of the Venetians, inspired by the collaborative nature of studio glass, and cultivated by the local and international glass community, Nick’s work tells a uniquely Australian story of partnership and persistence, industry and innovation, experimentation and growth.
