This light Soapstone texture and colored over-glaze creates a bold and versatile look.

Golden Paintworks® Soapstone is an excellent texture material for over-glazing with metallic and other pigments because it is non-absorbent and smooth (no sand). A smooth or roughish texture can be left depending on the look that is wanted. A slightly rough texture is left here to give the colored Glazing Gel something to catch on to.

Materials:
Base paint - Benjamin Moore Regal flat tinted to Soapstone colored 2057-20, GPW Soapstone tinted to BM 2057-20, GPW Glazing Gel colored with one part GPW Metallic Paint "Penny" to eight parts Glazing Gel.

Tools:
GPW Medium (240x100mm) stainless steel trowel (3.9"x11.5"), 3" spackle Knife 6" spackle Knife, Optional-taping knives
