I had so much fun making this hand made art journal. I created covers using heavy chipboard from packaging material. I created the pages with watercolor paper and used up some scrapbook paper, too. I laced the covers together with some hemp cord, and then personalized the front cover using lots of vintage paper scraps, acrylic paint, stamps, and more.
Have you created a hand made journal? Tell me about your experience in the Comments! I find it so satisfying to make my own art journals rather than buying them (although I do buy my share, as well.)
