Restoring Salvage Workshop and creating a REAL Maker Space!
What is a Maker Space? - A maker space is a place where people can gather to create, invent, tinker, explore, discover, and learn from one another using a variety of tools & materials across MANY different trades.
The way the shop is currently laid out here at Salvage Workshop has never been the easiest to use because I am always combining the storage of things with the need for floor space to operate machines and work on projects. It has been extremely difficult to properly use the workshop as a Maker Space, because no matter the project, I am constantly moving 3 things to get to the one thing that I need, and that can be EXTREMELY frustrating.
So instead of just continuing to deal with that, I decided a Workshop Restoration needed to happen!!
The FIRST step to organizing ANY space is to make a mess, so that's what we'll do!
In this video we will start making decisions on what to get rid of, what will go where, and how to better use the space I already have more effectively!
So let's get STARTED!
