I've been wanting to do something with this corner of the room for a while, so I decided to turn it into a little reading nook—a place where I can actually sit down, read, have my coffee, or just get away from my desk for a bit.
I added this Sikaic convertible sofa bed, which ended up being perfect for the space because it works as a cozy lounge spot but can also fold completely out into a bed when we need an extra sleeping space. It’s also perfect for movie nights, reading corners, small apartments, and living/guest rooms.
I went with the gray corduroy, which I really love with the rest of the room. The texture makes it feel extra cozy, and I added some pillows and a throw to make the space feel more intentional.
And because I apparently can't just decorate a space without making something 😂, I also turned a basic glass vase into a faux stone vase DIY. I wanted something that had more of that old-world, textured look without spending a ton on a new vase, so I decided to try making one myself.
I'm really happy with how this little corner came together!
