Making a 'straight' strap of leather follow along a contoured, 3D curve, isn't as easy as you might think. Here are the steps I took to make it happen. While I'm sure you'll never have to recreate this specific application, this technique, using aluminum foil as a template, is a great way to create specific shape that have to live on a contoured surface.
