Smooth-On | Creating a 12 ft (3.6 m) Post-Tensioned Concrete Countertop @smoothon | Uploaded October 2020 | Updated October 2024, 4 days ago.
In this instructional video we show how we made a 12 ft (3.6m) long post-tensioned concrete countertop, using the high spray technique. There are many different ways to go about it, but we're going to show some of the tips and tricks that we used to make the table.

For this project we used the Forton VF-774 Mix design. We wanted as much flexibility in our countertop as possible, and a high polymer loading. Other benefits of using Forton VF-774 are; creating a tighter and denser cured piece, elimination of crazing and spider cracking, complete dispersion of iron oxide pigments, and PCI Compliance.
