I’m Elisabetta, an Italian watercolor artist with a passion and a curiosity for art supplies and pigments.
Today I would like to experiment something new: I would like to mix my granulating Oxide Black by Rembrandt with some solid colours: I’m really curious to see the new unexpected mixes I will get.
In this way, by mixing granulating black with your favourite paint, you can create your own muted granulating palette without spending a fortune. And I hope you will like the final outcome! Stay with me and watch until the end to find out.
I know it’s unorthodox to use Black in watercolor, but this is the typical rule I love to break! I don’t think I will get arrested because I mix Black….
