Laurel Beard | ๐ธ Create Stunning Cards with Layering Stencils! ๐ฟ @LaurelBeard | Uploaded October 2024 | Updated October 2024, 11 hours ago.
In this short, Iโm working with stencil number three, featuring two beautiful elements: leaves and flowers! First, I lined up the stencil and taped it down for stability. For the leaves, I used Lime Rickey ink and then switched to Party Dress for the flowers. ๐จ
Youโll see how I blend the inks for some gorgeous shadingโgoing heavy in the center and lighter around the edges. The results are amazing, and itโs so much easier to line up layering stencils than stamps!
I love mixing up my ink blending brushes, and in this video, I show you how to get a smooth, blended look with any brand of brushes. Plus, these layering stencils take up almost no room in your craft stash! Iโm obsessed with the whole line of stencils and coordinating dies! ๐
