Learn how to use the new Duplicate By command in S-Edit to create repeated schematic content faster, more accurately, and with less manual effort.
Instead of repeatedly copying, pasting, and repositioning content manually, Duplicate By lets you define rows, columns, and spacing to create repeated schematic patterns in a predictable way.
You’ll see how the workflow begins by selecting the schematic content you want to duplicate, using that selection as the first placement in the array. From there, the Duplicate By dialog allows you to specify row and column counts, define horizontal and vertical step values, or use the mouse to interactively set spacing.
The video also covers one-dimensional and two-dimensional duplication examples, showing how users can quickly extend schematic patterns across columns or create full placement arrays.
