In this tutorial we'll be going over how to use Adobe Illustrator create a vector carve effect where it looks like a single letter has been inscribed onto the surface.

The tools we'll be recruiting to accomplish this include the Blend Tool, Pathfinder, and Gaussian Blur filter.
