I've been having a lot of fun with twin motor builds recently, and wanted to see how it would work on a proper aerobatic platform. I used a Twisted Hobbys 39" Yak 55 as the starter airframe and installed two EMAX LS2207 Lite Spec 1900kv motors on 7 inch props. The motors are running off of 25 amp BL Heli ESC's with the reversing motor setting enabled. This lets me reverse motor direction in-flight and back the plane up like it had a variable pitch unit. It's not quite as quick as a mechanical pitch setup, but you can do most of the same "4D" maneuvers with a bit of practice.
As with all my builds, this is strictly for fun. I do not intend to sell any sort of kit based on this project, although I will be glad to answer questions about the build, and help anyone who is interested create their own. Do not upload my content as your own, and please provide proper attribution if you are sharing it. Build and fly at your own risk and in accordance with your local regulations. Fly smart, fly safe
