With this video, we return to the 2022 edition of the San Marino Rally Legend, when the Swedish crew of Per-Gunnar "PG" Andersson and Anders Fredriksson participated and entertained the crowd with the powerful 600-horsepower Audi S1 Quattro RX Rallycross. They competed in the Legend Stars class for the Swedish team JC Raceteknik, which provided two rallycross cars for this special event. Fellow countryman Ole Christian Veiby also competed with the same team, in a similar car, at that year's Rally Legend. This LS class is purely for demonstration purposes and is not competitive. The cars are not subject to official timing, and the drivers compete without the pressure of time. The purpose of their presence was to put on a show, delight the crowd with extreme drifts, and showcase the car's brutal power on the San Marino special stages. The Audi S1 Quattro Rallycross is designed to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2 seconds and is powered by a 2.0-litre, 16-valve, inline-four turbocharged engine capable of developing 600 hp (441 kW) at 6,500 rpm and over 850 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. Equipped with Quattro permanent all-wheel drive, it uses mechanical limited-slip differentials at both the front and rear. The transmission is a 5-speed sequential with front-end engagement (Sadev) and a carbon multi-plate clutch. Con questo video torniamo all'edizione 2022 del Rally Legend di San Marino, quando l'equipaggio svedese Per-Gunnar "PG" Andersson e Anders Fredriksson ha partecipato e ha divertito il pubblico con la potente Audi S1 Quattro RX Rallycross da 600 cavalli. Hanno gareggiato nella classe Legend Stars per il team svedese JC Raceteknik, che ha messo a disposizione due auto da rallycross per questo evento speciale. Anche il connazionale Ole Christian Veiby ha corso con lo stesso team, con una vettura simile, sempre al Rally Legend di quell'anno. Questa classe LS è puramente dimostrativa e non competitiva. Le vetture non sono soggette a cronometraggio ufficiale e i piloti corrono senza l'assillo del tempo. Lo scopo della loro presenza era dare spettacolo, deliziare il pubblico con traversi estremi e mostrare la brutale potenza della vettura nelle prove speciali di San Marino. L'Audi S1 Quattro Rallycross è progettata per scattare da 0 a 100 km/h in meno di 2 secondi ed è mossa da un motore 4 cilindri in linea, a 16 valvole, da 2,0 litri, turbocompresso, capace di sviluppare 600 cv (441 kW) a 6500 giri/min e oltre 850 Nm a 4500 giri/min. Dotata di trazione integrale permanente Quattro impiega differenziali meccanici autobloccanti a slittamento limitato sia all'anteriore che al posteriore. Il cambio è sequenziale a 5 marce con innesti frontali (Sadev) e frizione multidisco in carbonio.
