A blast from the Past!
Since our weather and sky are so dreary over here, I wanted something to do and thought I’d share this bit of goofiness with ya since there’s so many new folks around who probably haven’t seen it. Hopefully it’ll put a grin on your face.
Back then I was using the Nikon P900 camera and the Canon 80D for filming, and had just bought the program Final Cut Pro and was trying to learn how to use it. It was a big learning curve coming from iMovie, and 2 years on I’m still clueless about a lot of its features (lol). :)
Interesting to see the quality of filming from those cameras to now with this beefier setup.

Venus setting in the WSW, Jupiter also heading down in SW. Over in the SSE was Saturn still rising, along with Mars in the SE Sky

Still learning & testing of the program.
All 4 Planets of Venus, Jupiter, Saturn & Mars scaled 100% from the Canon 80D with Tamron Lens zoomed at 400mm and digital zoom of 10x. They start at their approximate spot and in their captured travel speed. Well, poor Venus had to be started up by the tree because it was so low in the sky it would've only made 1 frame of the video (lol). But Jupiter is placed right above itself, Saturn to the left of itself, and Mars was in the willow tree.
