The github repository has to wait due to rewriting the tools again, but this public beta has all the source code to every mod ever written, with the most user-friendly directions yet, allowing mods to be installed easily into any version of CTR that we support.
Note: Python 3 is required. More details in the tutorial section.
This video shows a very-early level editor, to show that level editing can be done. There is enough research to do a lot, but it still needs more work until we can make a fully-functional level editor that exports from Maya or Blender.
Since recording, some code was added to fix a speed-glitch on the rainbow ramp, by editing the last bytes in the quadblock. It's not entirely sure how these bytes work, so still researching. Also when using hot-reload, choose "Inject 2mb" in the tool, which was renamed after recording.
This package also includes more mods that have never been showcased. Have fun exploring.

This build is dongle protected, which means you cant play via normal means, so attempting to run it will result in a black screen. Were solving this problem, so it will eventually be released to the public. Dont ask for a release date because even we dont know and were also busy with other stuff, so please be patient and enjoy the videos.
A full documentation of the differences will be available at The Cutting Room Floor article, and a download link will be posted on Hidden Palace website. At the time, both pages are being worked on.

We are proud to announce the Crash Landing 2021, a project weve been working on the past months, which weve been recovering several prototype material of Crash Bandicoot games for PlayStation 1. As part of this project, a total of five unique prototypes are included.
This is a demo build dated June 15th, showcased at E3 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia. It was later sent to a number of publications - mainly gaming magazines - which featured it in many preview articles around the world.

In this demo, Crash starts on the second warp room with five available levels, including a boss. Each level has a different theme, and most of them arent in their original locations. These are: Snow Go, Rock It, Bear It, Hang Eight, and Taz Tiger. By inputting a cheat code, the elevator can be unlocked, which will lead the player to three extra levels in the first warp room: Turtle Woods, Cold Hard Crash, and Crash Dash.
There is also three more levels that can be only seen during demo mode: Sewer or Later, Hangin Out, and Ruination. However, these ones cant be accessed via normal means, which makes sense given how unfinished they were at this point in development.
Sadly, no other levels were included in the disc, but at least some of the most interesting ones are present.
