The crash was reported shortly after 7 p.m. The Maine Department of Transportation issued an alert stating, “Portland, 295 South Exit 8 Off Ramp, Ramp Closed due to Crash, Expect Delays.” The lanes were reopen as of 9:20 p.m. At least two SUV's were involved. The condition of both drivers and any passengers are unknown.
