This video features all the boss fights from the N. Sane Trilogy remake of Crash Bandicoot: Warped, the third game in the series. Notice that this video was recorded while playing on a Playstation 4 Pro (nor that in this case it makes any difference on the game proper) and I just replayed boss fights I already beat (althought I did try not to use abilities a player can't possibly have before defeating the proper boss).
Here you can find the link to the bosses in order of appearence:
1) Tiny Tiger (00:00)
2) Dingodile (1:29)
3) Dr. N. Tropy (3:08)
4) Dr. N. Gin (4:39)
5) Dr. Neo Cortex (7:40)
There's really not much to say about the gameplay angle here, since the Trilogy managed to capture the original boss fight levels almost perfectly, with nothing either added or removed from the original Warped from the PS1 era. There are, however, few exceptions:
- In the original game, the left upper corner of Tiny's arena was a free zone you could go to in order to dodge the charging lions easily. In the Trilogy, however, going towards that spot will result in the crowd throwing CHEESE at you (since, you know, you are trying to CHEESE the fight) and kill you, so the spot is no longer safe.
- Dingodile has recived an odd buff in the Trilogy: not only the tracking ability of his heat ray has been improved and he will start bombarding you with fireballs from above even before taking damage, but this time around you'll either bring Crash to the very limit of the arena or you'll be caught in Dingodile's blast too, dying.
- All Dr. N. Gin's attacks in both phases have been made a bit slower, so it's easier to dodge them

![DS III: Ashes of Ariandel DLC - Sister Friede and Father Ariandel boss fight (Solo)
[WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM THE MAIN AND FINAL BOSS FIGHT OF THE ASHES OF ARIANDEL DLC]
This video features the final boss fight of Dark Souls IIIs first DLC, Ashes of Ariandel, against Sister Friede and Father Ariandel. They can as well be considered the only encounter from the DLC, since the other boss you can fight, The Champions Gravetender and The Gravetender Greatwolf, is strictly optional. This video was recorded on a normal playthrough (no NG+) and I chose not to use any summon, both from NPCs and players alike. Before anyone asks, much more like other Dark Souls videos Ive uploaded, this gameplay is cobbled together by several attempts I made at this boss.
Sister Friede and Father Ariandel are a nasty difficulty spike in an otherwise disappointingly easy DLC: the encounter is divided in three phases, the two bosses are capable to hit you like a freight train with attacks that are at times hard to predict, you get very little room to strike back and, in the middle of the fight, you must deal with a dual boss.
The first phase involves fighting Sister Friede alone. As a humanoid enemy, she can be stunned and backstabbed to give yourself some pause. Its worth mentioning however that she will retaliate after being stunned once and that backstabbing her is incredibly difficult due to the boss tendency to move all over the place during the fight. The best place to bring Friede to inflict some damage are the corners of the corridors of the hallway before Father Ariandel: her AI cant handle the tight space so well and will allow you several hits in before fleeing. Friedes special attack for this phase is to turn invisible, jump far away and reapper some seconds later to grab you with her scythe for massive damage. If you get savvy enough, though, you can start to predict where her jump will lead, reach her and take advantage of her charing her move to strike for massive damage.
When the second phase will kick in, Father Ariandel will join the fight along with Friede, and theyll share a single health bar. Summoning Slave Knight Gael will of course make this particular phase far more manageable.
During this part of the encounter is best to focus on Ariandel, for the following reasons:
- Friede will lack most of her attacks and therefore is easier to avoid, provided you can keep your distance and dodge her ice waves in time
- Ariandel is a big target, so locking on him will allow you to check Friedes position at the same time
- Ariandels attacks, while powerful, are incredibly telegraphed and easy to dodge
At some point Friede will start casting a healing miracle for herself and Ariandel. You can either easily backstab Friede to interrupt her casting or you can keep hitting Ariandel while Friede stands still: hitting him enough will leave him open for a risposte attack, for massive damage.
The third and final phase of the boss fight begins when Friede is resurrected once more as Blackfire Friede. This part of the fight is much similar to the first, but now Friede is much more aggressive, wields a second, magical scythe and can dish out dark attacks with grerat hitboxes and high damage potential. Also, you can no longer corner her around the arena. This final part of the boss fight simply boils down to memorizing Friedes attack patterns and attack every chance you get while staying on your toes for any counterattack DS III: Ashes of Ariandel DLC - Sister Friede and Father Ariandel boss fight (Solo)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/me7OhC7cjWg/mqdefault.jpg)
![Assassins Creed - Final boss fight
[WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS HEAVY SPOILERS FROM THE MAIN STORY OF ASSASSINS CREED]
This video features the final boss fight against Al Mualim from the first Assassins Creed. Note that the games version Ive recorded this on is the Directors Cut Edition for the PC.
Unlike all the other encounters with the assassinations targets, which generally involve more stealth than direct combat if you want things to go smoothly, assassinating Al Mualim is a straight fighting challenge with no room for stealth whatsoever. Defeating the boss involves three different phases:
- In the first phase you will be pit against all the assassination targets from the past missions. While they may look menacing at first, they will all go down with a single counterattack each and doesnt differ at all from the games normal enemies (fitting, since they are mere illusions)
- At the beginning of the second phase Al Mualim will conjure several copies of himself and attack you. You dont actually have to defeat them all, askilling just one of them will suffice and move the battle in its final phase. The illusions are actually rather challenging on their own and can survive a single counterattack
- The third phase involves facing the real Al Mualim alone. Once youll knock him down for the first time, the boss will suddendly disappear and your syncronization will be nearly depleted. You are then tasked to find Al Mualim in the area and resume the fight: you can take your time because your health wont drop below zero and you can spot Al Mualim from the distance by the artifacts glow. Once you find the boss youll have to hit him in order to regain your syncronization (if you allow Al Mualim to hit you first, youll desyncronize). Youll have to do all of the above twice or thrice: at one point youll start to hear Al Mualim growling in pain, which means hes about to fall. Youll only have to reach him once more, knock him down and then assassinate him with your hidden blade Assassins Creed - Final boss fight](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/nX4Bq5mgT_w/mqdefault.jpg)

![Dragon Age: Inquisition - In Your Heart Shall Burn
[WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM THE MAIN STORY OF DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION]
This video features the whole In Your Heart Shall Burn main quest from Dragon Age: Inquisition. Notice that the original footage was incredibly long, so I had to cut down nearly all the gameplay and leave mainly the cutscenes, with the only relevant gameplay bit being the quests boss fight.
Directly below you can find the videos highlights for a quick navigation:
- Closing the Breach (00:00)
- The siege of Heaven begins (2:37)
- Archdemons appearence (4:48)
- Retreat inside the Chantry (6:07)
- Fiona boss fight (9:29)
- The first encounter with the Elder One (11:39)
- Conversation with Mother Giselle and The Dawn Will Come (18:27)
- Journey to Skyhold (25:45)
- Becoming the Inquisitor (27:30)
Important elements from this quest comes from a previous choice you made, going to secure an alliance with the Templars (Champions of the Just main quest) or the mages (In Hushed Whispers) first. During In Your Heart Shall Burn your character discovers that the faction you neglected cant be rescued anymore and has been conquered by the Elder One, who will use its members as his ground forces for the rest of the game. The changes go as following:
- If you recruited the Templars, Heaven is attacked by the Venatori cultists led by Calpernia, a former Tevinter slave and a mage. The Venatori come in battle assisted by their spellbinders, who act as support units. Dorian Pavus will arrive to warn you and can join your party afterwards as your last companion. Grand Enchanter Fiona has also been recruited by the Venatori and serves as the quests final boss, acting like a buffed Venatori spellbinder
- If you recruited the mages, Heaven is attacked by the Red Templars led by general Samson. Red Templars have unique Red Lyrium corrupted units and favor big, strong warriors. Cole will arrive at Heaven to warn you and can join your part afterwards as your last companion. Knight-Captain Denam has been corrupted into a Red Templar Behemoth (a huge mini-boss that hits hard and can create Red Lyrium spikes on the battlefield) and serves as the quests final boss
The conversations youll have after the attack on Heaven are actually very important in deciding your character allignment, even if the game itself doesnt inform you of this. To be more specific:
- The conversarion with Mother Giselle and the speech you make upon accepting the role of Inquisitor will determine once and for all if your character believes in the Maker or not. This choice can have some consequences later on (mostly in the Cassandras character arc)
- The first speech from the new Inquisitor has also a small role in determining who is going to be the next Divine at the end of the story. The game doesnt give you ANY clue whatsoever about this Dragon Age: Inquisition - In Your Heart Shall Burn](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ok9wanKU-IU/mqdefault.jpg)
![Bloodborne - Final bosses and Childhoods Beginning ending (New game plus)
[WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS HEAVY SPOILERS FROM THE FINAL SEQUENCE OF BLOODBORNE]
This video features the final sequence of Bloodborne with the two possible and totally skippable final bosses, Gehrman, the First Hunter and the Moon Presence, and one of the three endings, Childhoods Beginning, while playing on new game plus mode.
The main story of Bloodborne can have three different endings: while two of them can be easily selected during a conversarion prior to the final boss, the third one requires you to have done some digging in the previous areas. Here are the three endings you can choose from:
- Yharnam Sunrise is the easiest ending to unlock and requires you to accept Gehrmans offer. Your hunter escape the dream and forgets everything he/she has learned. While this ending allows you to skip the final boss, it wont allow you to retrive the Old Hunter badge, which unlocks the Burial Blade (Gehrmans scythe) for purchase in new game plus
- Childhoods Beginning requires a bit of preparation. You must find at least three of the four One Third of Umbilical Cord in the game: one is automatically given to you after defeating Mergos Wet Nurse, but the other three are rather tricky to find. Once you got them, you must consume them before killing the final boss: any moment prior to that is as good as any. You must then face Gehrman in combat by refusing his offer: upon his defeat the Moon Presence will approach your hunter and try to take control of him/her, only to be rejected. The Moon Presence will then become the true final boss of the game. The events of this ending will turn your hunter into a newborn Great One
- Honoring Wishes plays out exactly as the Childhoods beginning ending, but its unlocked by NOT having found and consumed the three One Third of Umbilical Cord. The Moon Presence will take control of your hunter, who will become the new Keeper of the Hunt
Gehrman, the First Hunter can be best described as Father Gascoigne on steroids: hes a hunter NPC who will hit you fast and hard. His main weakness is that all his melee attacks can be parried and expose him to a very damaging visceral attack each time. Parrying him in his first phase while he holds the scythe is really easy, but when he pulls out a pistol and the first mode of the Burial Blade parrying him becomes more difficult. In his last phase Gehrman will use the power of the Old Hunter Bone to move and dodge even faster and gains two new attacks: he will stand still and charge an arcane energy nova in his surrounding and will jump hig in the air to cast a big whirlwind with his scythe. Hell use the Burial Blade in its two modes as before, so parrying him its still the best way to damage him.
For being the true final boss of the game and a Great One, the Moon Presence isnt really that impressive: hes basically a faster and more fagile Cleric Beast and far easier to beat than Gehrman. His combos are fast, but leave his sides open to attack and he has only two special attacks: one will reduce your HPs to one (but the boss will stand still for several seconds after casting it, making recovering your health incredibly easy), the other will shoot a black ooze from his tails that will prevent you from healing for a bit Bloodborne - Final bosses and Childhoods Beginning ending (New game plus)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/onivy2HtqwU/mqdefault.jpg)

![Batman: Arkham Knight - Cloudburst tank boss fight (New game plus)
[WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM THE MAIN STORY OF BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT]
This video features the boss fight against the Arkham Knights Cloudburst tank from Batman: Arkham Knight.
Note that this video was recorded while playing on New Game Plus mode on the PC version of the game. I apologize for the occassional flickering of the video but Im afraid thats Batman: Arkham Knight on PC for you.
The Batmobile battle against the Cloudburst tank may as well be the hardest tank fight from the whole game (the Arkham Knights giant drill you face later is just a matter of running away from it, while Deathstrokes special tank is basically the same deal as the Cloudburst one but with no blind spots). Also, if you hate the Batmobile as a gameplay mechanic you wont exactly like the whole thing.
The fight is divided in three phases:
1)At the beginning of the battle you are tasked with destroying the five Cobra drones patrolling the island along with the Cloudburst tank. Since you dealt with Cobra drones more than once in the past you should already know what to do. The difficulty here comes from the fact that destroying a Cobra will allert not only the others, but also the Cloudburst tank.
2) Once the Cobra drones have been destroyed, youll have to scan the Cloudburst tank itself and detect its weak points. Youll be then tasked to shoot at the four cooling ports of the tank, one for each side. These ports are dealt with exactly like the Cobras weak points (as to say, you must approach the correct side of the tank and wait for the Batmobile to get a clear shot and then fire). Once a port has been destroyed, the Cloudburst tank will enter an overcharge mode and run after the Batmobile while performing different kinds of attacks. During the overcharge you dont have any other option than run till the overcharge is over and the tank has lost sight of the Batmobile, so you can approach it again and deal with another cooling port.
3) Once all the four cooling ports have been destroyed, you can use the Batmobile to damage the Cloudburst tank directly via hit-and-run tactics. If you saved the Batmobiles homing missiles attack now its the perfect time to use it Batman: Arkham Knight - Cloudburst tank boss fight (New game plus)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/rXU6_pfs1co/mqdefault.jpg)
