I was in a bit of a mood this week, and had a lot of free time – so I dedicated it to the #DeathShelf project….and of course all my holds came in at the same time at the library as they often do. If you don’t know I have a project that is ongoing since I started my channel where I focus my attention on books about Death and Death Culture. As always, I must specify that grief and mourning are an entirely different topic and the pain of the living cannot be up for discussion as it is unique to each individual. I am merely interested in the physical and cultural aspects of death regarding the lifeless corpse. #Booktube
If you are interested in the topic from a non-bookish angle, and want to learn more about death stuff “hands on,” I will always always always recommend Caitlin Doughty’s channel: Ask A Mortician. It’s a collaborative project by all the members from the Order of the Good Death and Undertaking LA and it’s highly informative.
