🏆 2026 INTERCONTINENTAL MUSIC AWARDS WINNER - BEST OF EUROPEAN METAL

Independent Dutch-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, mixer, and mastering engineer Craig Neill brings his award-winning instrumental metal single “Baloo Ka Toofaan” to Metal Devastation Radio.

Officially named the Winner for Best of European Metal at the 14th Annual InterContinental Music Awards, “Baloo Ka Toofaan” showcases Craig's unique approach to instrumental metal, combining technical guitar shredding, progressive metal, thrash, aggressive riffing, Indian classical scales, and traditional rhythmic influences.

Originally from South Africa and now based in Soest, Netherlands, Craig has spent more than four decades developing his craft as a multi-instrumentalist and independent recording artist.

Craig writes, performs, produces, mixes, and masters his music himself from his private studio, creating his music 100% without generative AI.

Following his 2025 ICMA European Metal Finalist recognition for “Flatline,” Craig has now taken home the top honor for Best of European Metal with “Baloo Ka Toofaan.”

And he's just getting started.

Craig is currently preparing a forthcoming vinyl and CD release, along with new collaborations and additional music on the horizon.
