Episode 11, one minute craft hacks features how to create 3D heat embossed rusty nails, perfect for your masculine projects. (Product links below) This process is showcased for my Father's Day card. Place your black 3D foam squares on a heat resistant craft mat. It helps to have them lined up on a sticker sheet or the original backing from your foam dot packaging. Peel off the top lining of your foam dots and place press any copper colored pigment ink onto the top of your adhesive foam dots. I'm using Rose Gold pigment ink from Colorbox. Next, dip this onto clear embossing powder and heat emboss. You may need tweezers to hold your sheet of foam dots for the heat process. It only takes about 20 seconds to heat with a craft heat tool. You can also try this without ink and just use copper embossing powder. Have fun!
