Crafts For Kids: How To Make Edible Colored Sand - KidPep Crafts & DIY @TheKidPep

Crafts For Kids: How To Make Edible Colored Sand for sand art! Here is a fun, simple and great smelling kids craft. You will only need a few ingredients that you may already have in your kitchen. Once you round up a few supplies you can have a simple craft for kids. This is a great year around DIY projects for children. I would only recommend using it for sand art as the Kool Aid will stain your hands. The supplies you will need for this project:
Bowl
Measuring Cups
Spoons
Corn Meal
Kool Aid
Water

As you can see no food coloring is required for this project - just Kool Aid. This makes the sand smell amazing and makes it really colorful. Let the kids go crazy with the coloring and mix and match. Then let them be creative and make some great home decor sand art in a bottle items. A kids activity that will keep them busy for awhile.
