Disaster struck when I was trying to install my new CPU cooler today. When I tried to remove the old one, the CPU itself came off with it and I spent several hours trying to remove it. I finally managed to get it off, but the condition of the CPU is still up in the air. I'm letting it kind of dry off since it took quite a bit of work with alcohol and articlean to get it off, but hopefully, everything will be fine in end. Worst comes to worse, I have a bucket of water to douse any flames...
