*Couperins Preface:
These pieces are suitable not only for the harpsichord, but also the violin, the flute, the oboe, the viol and the bassoon. I wrote them for the little chamber concerts commanded by Louis XIV almost every Sunday throughout the year. The pieces were performed by Messieurs Duval [violinist], Philidor [oboist and bassoonist], Alarius [gambist], and Dubois [basoonist]: I myself played the harpsichord. In the hope that they will please the general public as they did the late King, I herewith publish several complete volumes Couperin - Les Concerts Royaux Concert No. 2 - Mov. 4&5/5](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/v9Gevde6sMw/mqdefault.jpg)
