Here is a small electromechanical analog computer from Ford Instruments, part of the 1960s era military AN/ASN-7 aircraft navigation system. This contains a marvel of precision metal machining - a cam systems that can take two input variables simultaneously in order to compute the output variable. The engineers and machinists that made the master shape for the cam were clearly superhuman.
