Having such a lovely place to go visit, even if unfinished, has been life-changing. My friend and I went to the off-grid cabin for the weekend and we stayed very warm. The insulation, wood stove, plus warmer weather kept the cabin to around 75-80 degrees F. Crazy.

I camp and hike in and around the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. I'm also building and enjoying an off- grid cabin in the woods with my partner Cory and the kiddos Nora and Ethan! I love sharing the journey with you!
