Coyote Works Open Invite Trip - High Desert Overland 2023
Looking forward to seeing some of you again and meeting some of you for the first time at this years open invitation overland event. Below are a few of the details. Cheers!
2023 HIGH DESERT OVERLAND
May 19-21
Meet 11 miles off Highway 20 down Frederic Butte Rd at the base of Frederick Butte. Frederick Butte Road turns south off Hwy 20 east of Brothers, Oregon.
Potluck Friday Night - Show off your best camp dish!!!
Raffle and Bonfire on Saturday Night - Raffle tickets available at the event

Vehicle - Any factory 4x4 with decent ground clearance won’t have any trouble making the route.
IMPORTANT: Come fully self supporting. Make sure you are prepared to meet your own food. Water, restroom, hygiene, shelter, etc. needs. There are no services of any kind at the location.
OVERVIEW: We will convoy out from the meeting location at 1pm on Friday. We will travel about 2 hours on dirt tracks to the location. If you’ve never been in a convoy of 3o or more rigs it’s a pretty awesome experience and great opportunity for some pretty epic drone footage. We will arrive at the camp location around 3pm. Everyone will have a couple hours to set up their individual camps and then we will gather around the campfire for potluck and camaraderie around 5pm.
Saturday there may be a few different educational classes and there are many places to explore. There is a lot of sand in the area so plenty of opportunities to get your rig stuck if you want. Again around 5pm we’ll gather for the raffle. Feel free to bring your dinner and hong out with the group to eat.
Sunday will be hang out, pack up, and depart at your own pace.
