Thank you for joining us on our survival shelter visit where we make Black Riffle Cowboy Coffee out of snow water. We start off by using a 4DB Quadratum 1/2"x6" ferrocerium rod fire starter, a Procamptek Fat Rope Stick and 4DB birch bark with palm tree tinder. (All products used are linked below in description) and of course our Wood Burner Pro camping stove. We melt some snow, crush up some coffee beans and steep them in the melted snow over the camp fire. This type of coffee on a snowy day always seems to take me back in time. Day hikes during a snow storm are always my favorite. As you can see our old survival shelter is still standing and has dry wood under it!
