The Las Vegas guard and Mandalay Bay shooting victim went into hiding just before he was supposed to do a press conference and interview with media and other TV shows. After 6 days of no one knowing his where abouts he appeared on the Ellen Degeneres Show in a pre recorded interview on her show.
The interview was edited and appeared to have parts missing. Ellen stressed several times making him appear to be a hero for helping stop the shooting because he interrupted the gunman plans.
Ellen is connected to MGM Resorts International which owns the Mandalay Bay Casino where the shooting took place. She has slot machines in one of the casinos and even taped a segment a few weeks in that casino involving her slot machines.
