hi! thanks for still checking the description. ♥

How are you?

I started this before quarantine began, wanting to practice art/video/and pop song mixing but as I was editing and the world was falling apart I started thinking about how much I miss going out without fear of getting sick?!

There were so many people I was looking forward to meeting during convention season, and the original timeline of my album had me out and about by now planning a show. I WAS GOING TO GET TO HUG SO MANY PEOPLE ;__; The one year I decide to go out and actually do stuff irl we're all locked down 😭

So I added a mask and the cover took on a different meaning haha. I'll upload both versions of the art to @jayneydraws on instagram!

Aside from that, I have SO MANY huge things in the works right now to share with you. I can't wait to be able to.

I can't imagine how my life would be unfolding right now if I didn't have such an incredible community to call home. If I didn't have so many kind hearted people rooting for me and being patient with me. I don't think I'd be here tbh lol

Things are happening for me because you've been here. Every stream, comment, moment of engagement over the past decade has literally given me a life and a future.

I can't explain everything right now without spoiling what's to come, and I'm honestly not good at expressing it consistently (I've basically been a hermit for the past few years trying to process everything) but it just keeps hitting me over and over that this is real life and it's becoming something so much bigger than I ever thought possible for someone like me.

I'll never be able to say thank you enough, but moving forward I hope you'll be able to see how hard I'm working to make you proud and build something lasting, something that I'm hoping I can use to give back the kindness and opportunities I've been given.

No matter how it ends, there's an crazy road unwinding up ahead. Thanks for riding with me.
