Boyfriend and Girlfriend explore the abandoned house they met Skid and Pump in, encountering a sweet little ghost who just wanted her friend to stop hurting.

Finally, another gameplay cover! And new designs for BF and GF too, wow!
So, after a bit of research, I couldn’t find a single cover with Alexis in them. I really liked Alexis in Bygone Purpose, so I tried making a cover with her in it. This is the second attempt, as the first attempt only had 27 seconds exported and I’m still salty about that.
I don’t really have an explanation for them singing Headache, but for it being the old Headache, I had a previous build of Garcello’s mod and didn’t know it was the original Headache because mobile does not play OGG files and that’s really dumb.
For the BF and GF designs: They’re sort of my own interpretations of them, and actually have names. Boyfriend is named Jackson and Girlfriend is Aria. I mainly edited the official FLAs for them, except Boyfriend/Jackson’s had some help since I was already losing my mind with them. For Girlfriend/Aria, I edited her’s to have a different leg position based on an image I found while scrolling Gamebanana out of boredom. Her hair is also redrawn.
(Jackson also originally had headphones but they weren’t drawn for some reason—)

THEY FINALLY FIGHT EACH OTHER
Ever since I found Mortem Obire, I’ve kind of had an obsession over it, and I think about a month ago I made this cover. I actually wanted it to be a gameplay video because as I was making it with that in mind, as if it was some kind of epic fight scene. So, with some help, this video was made.
This video specifically tells a story I wanted to do before as a cover; Mia, a girl who at first glance you wouldn’t suspect would hold her own in a fight, facing off against a dangerous opponent in order to save her friends. It was supposed to be a Lore cover, but because of Ourple Guy’s side being out-of-tune and it was during the time I was just starting to make covers in FL, I wasn’t able to do that. I mean, this song actually fits more, doesn’t it?
This is the cover where I realized Mia’s chromatic is a bit finicky. Because of how it was made, some of her notes don’t come out unless I extend and move it. It only happened twice, so it wasn’t a big problem. This is also the cover with

Friday Night Funkin is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesnt approve of him. Its up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. I like testing out drawing apps. When I was fooling around trying to make another animatic (which I possibly will never actually polish—it’s dumb and has no storyline/doesn’t make sense) I found this app called iArtbook and began doodling the “storyboards” in it. Then when I got bored I decided I should probably test it out properly. I’m kind of used to drawing in my go-to, but I really like how this one came out.

I found out that the UTAUs for FNF characters can be used in FL Studio (only was one voice file at a time and no long notes, so there’s that problem. If I ever get a computer I’ll try to get the actual UTAU software so I can make it sound a little better) and I tried testing it out with Girlfriend and Sky. (Originally it was going to be Monika but I didn’t like how it sounded so it was scrapped.)
GF sounds a little demonic in this due to me not knowing how to tune on FL Studio, so that’s why I used Crazy Girlfriend instead of regular Girlfriend, even though she’s still there, observing the battle. Originally the title was gonna be about Sky saving GF from her evil self, but this is a test anyway.
The vocals were placed over the instrumental in Kinemaster, so it might sound a little off, but this is literally my first time doing this, and it’s really hard.

I’m not funny
So I used the official FLP to remix this song (is that a sin or illegal? Either way this might get taken down/lh) and took about, probably 30 minutes to an hour making this sound good, along with having to make NiGHTS and Reala’s chromatics, not to mention wrangling Grace’s soundfont around to make sure there’s no empty gaps of sound. I can and will do this again if I have the motivation to remix all three remaining songs.
I called it Dream Team every time I saved it so I literally had to do something else for the title. I ended up going with a pun. I wanted to do something with twins because haha, Twinsomnia and Twin Seeds but I could not figure it out, so I went with Nightmaren for a pun on “no nightmares”.
There is no context as to why Reala’s there or even why they’re singing alongside NiGHTS, but they’re there and ready to make this child go to sleep. Also there’s no reason as to why Grace is in the role of Boyfriend, I just wanted to draw her as baby.
Storyline-wise they’re probably trying to get her to sleep because she’s being a bit stubborn (like BF) but they end up having way too much fun and end up missing her when they have to leave.
Anyway here you go. I’ll stop rambling.
(Also fun fact 4: There’s another remix I made for my first ever cover of Expurgation, but I never posted it because I was probably lasy)
