This workshop focuses on strengthening partnerships that support aquatic invasive species efforts across the state. Sessions highlight strategies for meeting volunteer needs, opportunities to collaborate with the University of Minnesota’s MAISRC and Extension, and pathways for developing the next generation of AIS professionals. Participants also received an update on MAISRC’s PI Charter tool and have an opportunity to provide feedback. The workshop concluded with an overview of upcoming DNR pilot projects designed to expand collaboration and enhance prevention efforts.
