With the year drawing to a close, the classic Hollywood gunfire sounds of Counter-Strike have gone the way of the sound mod itself, now replaced with more realistic, atmospheric gunfire sound effects.

This downloadable archive contains over four hundred of the sound effects from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's 2016 Update, including gunfire, all reloads, and an assortment of explosions and various ricochets. These are the unmodified source files directly from the game's archive itself, for your free use convenience. Mods or no, thank you for continuing to use the .wav format, devs!
