Part 1 of a video about the Sullivan / Gulf Stream Rarities Framed Counterfeits. In this half I show the company profile of our counterfeiter, and the two main certificate types that accompany these pieces of garbage. Part two, I share more examples and show them side by side.
These cast counterfeit coins come in wood frames, with either a fake counterfeit Cobb Coin Company COA, or the Gulf Stream Rarities COA -that guarantees your coin is fake or suspect.
Sorry this video is not well made, but I wanted to get it up asap as these framed fakes are a plague on this corner of Numismatics, the 1715 Fleet as well as on any collector of cob coinage, or those who like to pick up a quick souvenir.
