Based on "The Monsters Go Disco," a 45RPM vinyl record printed on the backs of Monsters cereal boxes in 1979, with the original actors for Count Chocula (Jim Dukas) and Franken-Berry (Bob Mc Fadden) in performances rarely heard by people who didn't own the actual record. Alas, when we animated this, we could not locate the estate of Boo-Berry actor who appeared in this original recording, so Boo-Berry here is Chris Phillips, recorded in 2009, nailing the original style of Paul Frees, who was Boo in the TV commercials. This visual piece was designed and directed by Pat Giles, animated by Justin Roth, with color design and co-creative direction by Manny Galán.
