The Council of Nicaea was the first major ecumenical church council. Here we discuss the main people in attendance as the canons issued from the Council. We mention Hosius of Cordoba, Eusebius of Caesarea, Eusebius of Nicomedia, Alexander of Alexandria, Athanasius of Alexandria, Arius of Alexandria, Constantine the Great, Paul of Samosata, Novatian of Rome, and of course Richard Nixon.
