This collaboration between Coty Raven Morris and Mark Burrows began as a conversation about light, color, and the human experience—how even within black ink and white light, whole spectrums of color are present. From that idea emerged Morris’s stunning poem, paired with Burrows’s compelling musical setting for choir, piano, string quartet/orchestra, and percussion. “Shadows Have Color Too” is a journey, an exploration, and a celebration.
