This is pretty much a remix/remaster project based on the work I did back in 2014 for Doom Remakes... Remade! and Doom II Remakes. I picked the stuff that I felt would benefit the most from being remixed into a more aggressive kind of mix, with boomier drums and edgier guitars.
The video is not just for show, this was indeed transferred from a cassette tape.

Unfortunately the video got cut off for some reason. I recall the SD card I had back then for the GoPro was a bit faulty and randomly stopped working and you had to remove it and insert it again for the camera to recognise it. Quite unfortunate since this was the one and only time a song from one of my solo albums was performed with a full band.
This was our presentation on the 2015 talent show of my mayor in university. To give some context, the English Pedagogy department put up a talent show for its students every year during early November, so we just, well, show our talents. This was not a competition and it was just a display of what we could do aside from (trying to speak) speaking English and teaching kids how to do it.
Unlike previous years of the talent show, for 2015 we decided to write our own song to be performed, titled Backstab, instead of performing a cover of a popular rock/metal song. Backstab is a song about betraying a friend, written amidst quite a bit of drama between a couple of members on this specific iteration of Killing Spree. Most of the song was written by me, with some flair and drum arrangements provided by the other guys. The song is featured in my album Catharsis Outtakes, originally recorded as a demo for the other guys to rehearse and learn the final arrangement of the song, which I then polished into a properly produced track.
